iPads, Blogs, and Babies

Today I’m at a ‘baby and parent’ class with my partner Sophie and my 3 month old daughter Emily, part of a 8 week course.

In fact there are 9 babies and 12 adults here.

I got clearance from the lady running the class to use my Apple iPad Air to check email – but of course also found myself reading and responding to forums etc. (I resisted the temptation to watch any movies, lol).

It was interesting because it was far more usable than trying to disguise using my iPhone, but seemed much less intrusive than using a laptop, even my little 11″ MacBook Air.

Maybe I need to put a little more effort into learning to use my iPad Air in a highly effective way like I use a laptop?

I might spend a few hours later getting up-to-speed with iPad Safari tricks,  plugins etc.
