I love HTML Blocks too.
On our http://www.moodlebites.com course teachers are often surprised by HTML Blocks, and all the different things you can do with them – and you have highlighted a whole bunch of ideas here 🙂
One thing I haven’t tried yet is embedding a H5P activity with an HTML Block … I’m sure there would be something really cool we could do there – maybe an Image Slider ?
