Moodle 3.9 new feature – bulk delete private file

Do you use the Private Files area in Moodle?

If you use Private Files in Moodle, it can be all too easy to just let these grow in size and number, without managing them.

In Moodle 3.9 a new enhancement is that when in list view, it is possible to select multiple and bulk delete private files, rather them removing them individually.

It’s a small change, but if you spend a lot of time in Moodle, using Private Files, this can be a real time saver for your file management 🙂

  • This is very true, Private Files should be managed, otherwise they grow in number endlessly!
