Hi Stuart,

Thank you. I think that the new year is one of the triggers of reflection, but at times there are odd little unexpected moments that trigger considerations of the past too. Though the new year does make us want to have a fresh perspective. Perhaps it also comes down to having taught where reflection of each lesson is ingrained into the professional process.

Oh, the Smart Home sounds fun! I have an Alexa that I use a bit but not really to control things. There is always the cloud to consider, though I believe its possible to achieve locally with single board machines and their add-ons - such as AI capable chips.

Kind regards,

Very interesting - a new year often promotes reflection eh ?
My 'mini project' this year is making my new house a Smart Home.
Think automated lights, security cameras, robo-vacuum, etc.
My daughters are looking forward to controlling things via voice commands !
