I’m a real Notes user – used to be Evernote, but now Apple Notes (because these days they have good functionality, and can be shared across my MacBook, iPhone, iPad, Watch – so handy.
This reminds me of something I am doing at the moment – creating a ‘lunch menu’ for my daughter’s school lunch boxes – using sticky notes on a board.
What occurred to me, after reading this post, is that using sticky notes with my daughters we are actually involved in a ‘process’ – discussing, negotiating, arguing, arranging, re-arranging, prioritising, etc.
This reminds me of my early days in teacher training. And realising that there is a great value in what we are doing by ‘constructing’ the notes collaboratively … it’s not just the final end result that is important – it’s the process, in this case a shared process, that has value also.
