QEC is a specialised regulatory and technical consultancy, and registered Private Training Establishment, working across fields of environmental, health & safety, hazardous substances, food safety & quality management.

With such a diverse portfolio of disciplines, QEC saw the opportunity to support learners in a more flexible and responsive way through a launch of their Moodle site in 2017.

HRDNZ (Certified Moodle Partner since 2006) created a secure and easy-to-use Moodle site, optimised for an audience who are often not highly IT literate.

The QEC Moodle site now includes online modules for:

• Emergency response wardens (following the devastating Christchurch earthquakes)
• Hazardous substances training
• Full NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) Health and Safety Certificate
