Moodle 2.7 nearing release

Last week I installed Moodle 2.7 on a couple of server, just for testing.

It’s starting to look quite good!

The roadmap is currently:

  • 2.7 Code freeze – 7th April 2014
    • This means that no new features are accepted
  • 2.7 QA begins – 14th April 2014
    • This is the start of the Quality Assurance testing period
… did you know that Teresa Gibbison has been the top tester for a Moodle release ?!
  • 2.7 Release date – 12th May 2014
    • This is assuming all tests pass, so there could be a delay on this

So we are about 6 weeks away from the official release, and I’ll start sharing some experience and experiences from now smile
