Big Blue Button releases Scalelite

Big Blue Button now allows for 1000’s of simultaneous users!

Big Blue Button (BBB) now have full documentation on setting up Scalelite, configuring it, and using it to administer a pool of Big Blue Button servers:

This is the missing piece that will enable any organisation in the world to setup their own pool (cluster) of Big Blue Button servers to scale to 1000’s of simultaneous users.

With Big Blue Button + Scalelite + Moodle, a school, university, or any other organisation can have scalable solution for both synchronous and asynchronous online learning.

We are seeing many Moodle sites now investigating Big Blue Button and Zoom as options to support learners through the COVID-19 months ahead … and why not !
