Forums for learning 4 – Permalinks

Do you know how to use Permalinks in Moodle forums?

A permalink (or permanent link) is a URL that is intended to remain unchanged for many years into the future, creating a hyperlink that does not disappear.

Permalinks are often rendered as friendly URL’s so they are easy for people to type and remember.

In Moodle a permalink allows you to link directly to a specific forum post so you can share it easily with others.

You will see the permalink option when clicking to reply to a post.

If you click the permalink it is highlighted to the side and you will have a specific web address which you can then copy and paste to use elsewhere.

Easy as that !
