Touchdown in Melbourne for H5PCon
Thank you Virgin Australia for delivering me safely to Melbourne for the H5P Conference!
I love Melbourne.
It’s probably my favourite Australian city.
An illustrative experience today was catching the bus from Melbourne Airport to Flinders central train station.
The guy in the information booth was packing up, effectively closed. But totally happy to help me, give me a map with his additional direction. And then, he asked if I wanted a bottle of water! How nice!
And then the bus driver was awesome, offering me lots of advice about the area I am staying in, where to go, etc.
Melbourne, I’m not sure why, but you really seem to get things right, where so many other cities in the world get things wrong. Awesome.
