Meet ElearningWorld writer Tish Kirkland

Antipodean IELTS expert … (put your hand up if you needed to lookup those first words? lol)

Tish has been using Moodle for many years.

I’m not sure why she is “Tish” – I think it’s short for Patricia?

It’s like our writer “Cat” for Catherine eh?

But I suppose its only like people call me Stu, for Stuart, lol.

Anyway, Tish is an experienced instructional designer, English language teacher, IELTS writing tutor, and huge Moodle enthusiast.

A lot of her experience comes through running her own ILETS and language teaching business, and that’s life at the sharp end – you learn very quickly when you run your own business.

On top of that, she is a delightful lady, and I’m lucky enough to run into her fairly regularly at Moodle Moot events and suchlike (see photo for evidence!)

It’s great to have her writing here, and I’m sure her posts will make very interesting reading.
