Moodle Quiz question types – Description

Have you ever noticed the Description type question type when creating a Moodle quiz?

Well, a Description question page simply shows some text (and possibly graphics if you want that) without requiring any answer at all! In this respect, it is really more like a course page Label than a question type.

Note that these questions are not really questions at all, so they are ignored when adding random questions from a category (see the discussion here if you are interested https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=324179).

Note that when shuffling questions is turned off, this type of page can provide information to be used by a following group of questions – so serving as an introduction to a set of questions.
