Jigsaw of the day…
“Facilitator: – I don’t know if I told you before, but I found a mistake in a quiz question and updated…
Administrator: – Oh good. Did you run a regrade?
Facilitator: – There was only one attempt made when I updated…
Administrator: – Ok…”
Is it really ok?
Well, no it’s not ok.
The fact is that when a quiz has been attempted is actually “locked”. Changes are not made in the quiz unless a regrade is requested.
The question had been updated in the question bank and it looked correctly, but the quiz where this question had been used wasn’t updated.
So, remember, whenever your change a question in a quiz that has been attempted always run a dry regrade to locate changes and go for a regrade.
